Projects
The project consists of the construction, operation, and maintenance of a private 30 km toll motorway, from San Antonio Suchitepéquez to Santa Cruz Mulúa, along the CA-2 in Guatemala. The new toll road will aim to reduce traffic on the existing route and ease congestion in and around the towns of San Bernardino, Cuyotenango and Mazatenango.

We undertook Traffic & Revenue Due Diligence on behalf of the Lenders of the Project.
In 2022, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (MoICT) initiated a Project for the development and expansion of Pemba Airport on Pemba Island in the Zanzibar Archipelago, as part of the Government of Zanzibar’s aim to promote the blue economy programme.

A Waste to Energy PPP programme located in Kabd area within the State of Kuwait, at a distance of approximately 35 km from Kuwait City. The project has been allocated an area of 500.000 sq. metres for the project, including the sanitary landfills.

Plan Lumière 4.0 which was procured as a PPP contract by the Walloon Regional Infrastructure Supplementary Financing Company (“SOFICO”) and consists of the design, modernisation, financing, management and maintenance of public lighting installations and equipment in the road network of Wallonia (approximately 2,300km). The aim of the Project is to develop a smart, energy efficient lighting system using modern LEDs and dynamic management tools, including upgrade of 100,000 light sources, 70,000 supports and 600 command points, renovation of high and low voltage network and access points, and remote and centralised management.

We acted as Lenders Technical Advisor for this project.
This project includes the replacement of 29 manually operated dams with innovative automatic inflatable water dams on the Aisne and Meuse rivers. The main objectives of this project are to make the operation of these dams safe, to allow efficient management of diversion bays and floods, as well as to maintain navigation, while respecting the environment, in particular through the construction of fish. In order to make the project viable, it includes the construction and operation of hydroelectric turbines.
The duration of the concession is 30 years, with the design and construction phases taking place over a period of eight years from the signing of the partnership contract in 2013. The value of the construction amounts to 260 million d 'euros.
Infrata's Role
The role of our French-speaking team is to provide technical advice to lenders, from the offer phase, in preparation for credit committees, during the financial closing process, throughout the construction phase and, subsequently, during the operation phase.
Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is developing a new 2.4 million TEU per annum expansion to its Deltaport terminal and requires updated market information to support the process
Infrata's Role
For over 10 years container market forecasts and detailed market studies have been provided, outlining the competitive position of the Port of Vancouver. In addition, a vessel forecast study recently complemented the previous work
Independent E&S auditor for Basra Multipurpose Terminals at Umm Qasr Port. The Project covered two terminals; one is operational, the other one is under construction. The total annual capacity of two terminals is expected to be 1,000,000 TEU. We provided a comprehensive review of Project’s practices and documents against the national environmental, health, safety and social (EHSS) laws, IFC Performance Standards (2012), IFC General EHS General Guidelines and relevant World Bank Group Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Guidelines (sector-specific and general).

We provided a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) was also provided for consideration and action by the Client and its main contractor on site.
This project involved two road concessions for a period of 25 years; the Puerto Salgar – Barrancabermeja road, which runs for 259.6km and is broken down into thirteen functional units with two toll plazas, and the Sabana de Torres – Curumani road, which runs for 272.1km and is broken down into 10 functional units with three toll plazas.

Infrata worked on behalf of the Sponsor providing both technical and traffic due diligence, assisting the client in the development of the O&M and lifecycle strategy and building a bottom up cost model, as well as toll business plan and revenue forecasts.
The Transgabonaise Road project will see the upgrade of the existing highway between the capital Libreville and Franceville, Gabon’s 3rd city. The works will be broken down into two phases, which will see the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the highway as well as the repair of 4 viaducts and 2 bridges. Construction will also include 3 new toll plazas, a weighing station and operational buildings.

We provided Technical, ESG and Traffic advisory services on behalf of the client.
The Purple Line LRT project is 27 km long, with 43 stations and 1 depot throughout the line.

We performed lenders’ ESG due diligence, assessed the environmental and social risks and adequacy of the proposed management plans, reviewed the Project’s compliance with national regulations and laws, and provided a high-level overview of the compliance against Equator Principles from which an action plan has been developed.
