Projects
A new 15 MiGD Water Treatment Plant on the Rio Cobre river in St Catherine, Jamaica. The project involves the design, build, financing, maintenance and operation of the plant for a period of 23 years, under a 25-year Water Purchased Agreement between the National Water Commission and a SPV made up of Vinci Construction Grands Projets and Capital Infrastructure Group. Scope of work includes technical due diligence and construction and O&M monitoring for an intake facility, equipped with six water pumps fixed to the end of two oscillating booms that draw water off the surface of the river, and the proposed Plant, located around 300m from the intake.

Chilean mining company Codelco tendered a desalination plant to provide treated water to the company's mining operations in Antofagasta. The project will have a capacity of 630 l/s and a potential of 1,680 l/s. The works include the desalination plant, with UF pre-treatment at Caleta Viuda, 14km south of Tocopilla near Antofagasta. The project will serve phase II of the Radomiro Tomic sulphides mine and concentrator facility by means of a 160km pipeline and five pumping stations.The contract will be developed through a BOOT (Build-Own-Operate-Transfer) business model, with an overall capex in excess of 2bn.

We acted as Lender Technical Advisors to the funders.
The $182 million project entails the construction of two new terminals, as well as a multi-purpose dock and container yard. Work will extend to the provision of various other facilities to process containers and a variety of bulk cargos in this growing region.

Long-standing support to DCT Gdansk operators and owners over the past 15 years, involving provision of updated cargo forecasts, port competition analysis and review of hinterland markets served, including built-up transport cost analysis to identify existing and anticipated future market reach of port into Poland and throughout Europe.

The project comprised development, finance, operations and maintenance of water infrastructure in the Asutsuare region (close to the Volta Lake region). This includes the development of a 360,000m3 two-stream water treatment facility and the construction of 72km of pipeline and associated booster stations, reservoirs and connection points inking the treatment plant to the Accra Tema distribution points of Ghana Water Company Limited. Total capital expenditure of the Project is estimated at €380 million with a 5 year construction period.

The Carlsbad Desalination Plant has been operational since 2015 and is among the largest in the world. It produces 50 million gallons of potable water per day, meeting 10% of San Diego’s water demand.
