Troncal del Magdalena 1-2, Colombia

This project involved two road concessions for a period of 25 years; the Puerto Salgar – Barrancabermeja road, which runs for 259.6km and is broken down into thirteen functional units with two toll plazas, and the Sabana de Torres – Curumani road, which runs for 272.1km and is broken down into 10 functional units with three toll plazas.

Infrata's Role
Infrata worked on behalf of the Sponsor providing both technical and traffic due diligence, assisting the client in the development of the O&M and lifecycle strategy and building a bottom up cost model, as well as toll business plan and revenue forecasts.

Baixo Alentejo Sub Concession, Portugal
Projects

This project involved the prospective acquisition of 100% of the Baixo Alentejo sub concession which consists of the construction renovation, financing, operations and maintenance of a 113.4km road in the south of Portugal. The sub concession operates under a 30-year shadow toll concession which is due to end in 2039.

Infrata's Role
We worked on behalf of the Buyer providing both technical and traffic diligence.

Senegambia Bridge, Gambia

The 942m Senegambia bridge opened in 2019 and includes two tolling plazas, each located on either sides of the bridge.

Infrata's Role
We assisted the client for the granting of rights to operate, maintain and collect tolls via a concession agreement with the Gambia government. We also provided technical due diligence on the asset reviewing, commenting and advising on all technical aspects. The team provided a red flag report to the client and assisted the client in addressing these flags.

Aeropuerto del Café: Manizales, Colombia

The Colombian Government is investing in the country’s central coffee-growing regions. This includes a large-scale improvement of the area’s aviation network. This specific project involved the development of an airport to replace the functionally constrained La Nubia Airport, serving the city of Manizales.

A7 Bordesholm - Hamburg, Germany

The A7 Bordesholm – Hamburg is a 65km section of road in northern Germany that provides an essential link for freight travelling to and from ports in Germany to Denmark.

Infrata's Role
We provided a technical review over the road including a red flag report and a full report covering all technical aspects, including a review of the operation and maintenance performance.

Ruta Costera, Colombia
Projects

Ruta Costera has a total length of 146.6 km, 109.9 km are between the cities of Cartagena and Barranquilla (Section 1) and 36.7 km between Malambo and Barranquilla (Section 2), crossing the departments of Bolívar and Atlántico. As part of the Route is the Gran Manglar Viaduct over the Ciénaga de la Virgen, which stands out as the longest in Colombia and the third longest in Latin America, and the Circunvalar de la Prosperidad, a new dual carriageway that improve the mobility and access to the port area on the Magdalena River and the Ernesto Cortissoz Airport.

A355 Motorway - Western Strasbourg Bypass Project, France

The A355 Motorway - Western Strasbourg Bypass is a demand-based greenfield project, consisting of the design, build, finance, operate and maintain (DBFOM) of a tolled motorway, which will be approximately 24km long and dimensioned as a 2x2 lanes road, with hardshoulders. The speed limit is to be 110km/h. The A355 will bypass the city of Strasbourg to the West, running through the rural Alsatian plain, around 10km from the city, and will affect 24 communities.

Infrata's Role
We acted as Lenders' Technical Advisor.

Rion-Antirion Bridge, Greece
Projects

The Rion-Antirion is situated in Western Greece and integrates the countrys road network on a national level and enhances maritime connectivity with Italy and Western Europe. The Bridge has the third longest cable stayed deck in the world and is 2,880m in length and 27.2m wide.

Infrata's Role
We acted as the Technical and Traffic Advisor for the vendor in 2022, reviewing technical aspects of the project and developing traffic forecast models for the client.

Pyrolysis Plant, U.K.
Projects

We were appointed to provide an independent technical review of a Birmingham based facility which uses a system of pyrolysis to recover renewable energy and effect disposal of the waste on behalf of producers, including analysis of the technology, suitability of the feed stock, expected electrical output and O&M implications.

Purdue University, Indiana, U.S.A.

This transaction involved the acquisition of an accommodation complex at the Purdue University, Indiana. The asset is under operation and includes three buildings, all of which include residential space and some hold additional community and retail space.

Infrata's Role
We acted on one of potential buyers behalf as the Technical Advisor with team members developing an independent bottom-up heavy maintenance model and plan for the road.
