We have a strong understanding of the infrastructure sector and our ESG team has worked across all industries in this sector, from transport and energy through to digital and social infrastructure. Our work covers all aspects of ESG – environmental, social and governance, as well as critical health and safety matters that are so important in infrastructure.

We provide bespoke services for every project and every client, but at the same time our work is built upon solid foundations underpinned by decades of experience and a deep understanding of leading ESG standards. This is the philosophy behind our proprietary ESG tool, GAIA, Global Assessment for Infrastructure Assets. Using GAIA, we combine client-specific and project-specific considerations with our sector experience to assess ESG risks and opportunities, referencing a wide range of ESG standards. This allows us to meet the needs of project sponsors, lenders and investors.

We also provide ESG or environmental and social due diligence and related services to specific standards, including the Equator Principles, the IFC Performance Standards, the EBRD Performance Requirements, IDB Invest, the EU Taxonomy, and the Principle Adverse Impact indicators of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.
